Roddick targets London 2012 Olympic gold

November 24 - Andy Roddick (pictured), the former US Open champion, is already looking forward to the London 2012 Olympics where the tennis tournament is due to take place at Wimbledon, where the American has been beaten in three All-England finals.






Norfolk clinches second US Open title

September 17 - Hampshire's Peter Norfolk (pictured) has clinched his second US Open quad singles title  in New York, extending his tally of wheelchair tennis majors to 16 as he held of American world number one David Wagner 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 to win his second Grand Slam of 2009.









Bronze for British tennis players

 

SEPTEMBER 13 - BRITAIN's Peter Norfolk and Jamie Burdekin (pictured) won bronze Paralympic Games wheelchair tennis quad doubles after a dramatic three-set play-off against the Dutch pair of Dorrie Timmermans-Van Hall and Bas Van Erp in Beijing tonight.
